Join Queen Angel, of the 8th Ward Black Seminoles, as she teaches beading techniques while sharing the history of the Black Masking tradition of New Orleans. Each of these four classes will focus on a particular technique including basic beading skills, shading/filling, color blending, and using sequins. We encourage you to participate in the complete series to gain a full hands-on experience; however, individual classes can be attended as well. All beading material will be provided. Feel free to bring a lunch with you and eat as you bead in our beautiful courtyard! In addition to the classes being held outside, guests will be asked to socially distance and required to wear a mask.
