Join members of the Black Masking Tradition as they teach beading techniques while sharing the history of this unique New Orleanian cultural practice. Each of the four classes will include different techniques such as basic beading skills, shading/filling, color blending, and using sequins. Guests are encouraged to participate in the complete series to gain a full hands-on experience; however, individual classes can be attended as well. All beading materials will be provided. Feel free to bring a lunch with you and eat as you bead in our beautiful courtyard! In addition to the classes being held outside, guests will be asked to socially distance and required to wear a mask.
