All those passionate about making the French Quarter graffiti-free should sign up and be a part of this fun and worthwhile event. There are opportunities as group leaders as well as hands-on workers to participate. With the tools and instructions in hand, volunteers spread out through the French Quarter and remove as many graffiti marks as possible. Volunteers receive a work t-shirt (while supplies last), all cleaning products and tools for the cleanup, and are treated to a post cleanup lunch donated by Bourbon Vieux.
The French Quarter Business Association invites individuals and groups to volunteer on Saturday, April 18th to help rid public spaces of unsightly graffiti.
The event and supplies are generously sponsored by NCIS New Orleans. Producer Joseph Zolfo and Location Scout Albert Quaid are thrilled for a chance to give back to the neighborhood where so many NCIS New Orleans scenes are filmed. Their benevolent contribution will provide for the gloves, rags, scrappers, scouring pads, t-shirts and Vieux Carre Commission approved cleaning solution.
